The Roman Catholic goalie made key saves during a scoreless game, then came up with key stops in a shootout to help the Cahillites claim the plaque.
The championship game was a great snapshot of his talents, but in reality, his dynamic play was on display all year, as he guided Roman to a stellar regular season that included just one blemish.
Next year, he’ll continue his soccer career at La Salle University.
And while soccer was his best sport, Tobin also had a hand in helping Roman win a state basketball championship.
